Special lift for HPGe detector with lead shielding (500 Kg), Moldova

This mobile laboartory is used for extremely precise and sensitive measurments with HPGe detector.

Enviromental background elimination measurments could be done with 5 cm thickness lead shielding. Because of special detector construction, it has to be inserted into protection from the bottom. Thats why, every time when measurments are performed lead shielding that weights 500 kg has to be rised up to 1 meter height. For safety reasons, while the mobile laboartory is moving the protection has to be lowered to the ground to not disturb the vehicle centre of gravity. For this reason inside the Mercedes Benz Sprinter was designed special gantry lifter. Lifter is installed in a way that takes up least possible space. Elevator reducer electric motor is being supplied with energy by frequency converter

. Tuo tikslu buvo suprojektuotas ir MB Sprinter furgone sumontuotas specialus gembinis keltuvas. Keltuvas įrengtas taip, kad užimtų kuo mažiau vietos. Keltuvo reduktoriaus elektros variklis užmaitintas per dažnio keitiklį, dėl to jis puikiai veikė ir nuo mobilioje laboratorijoje sumontuoto autonominio maitinimo šaltinio, naudodamas tik 550W. Keltuvo niša uždaroma slankiojančiomis žaliuzėmis, užtikrinant estetinį laboratorijos vaizdą.
