Full body radioactive contamination meter Tanzania

During the implementation of the project that was organized by European Commision and named "Equipment Supply Nuclear Safety Cooperation Program: Support for the Tanzanian Regulator". Full body contamination monitor was designed and manufactured in compliance to special technical requirements, to measure radionuclide pollution of mine workers.

Inside the monitor is integrated measuring part based on USA manufacturer "Ortec" with extra pure Germanium detector and software.

Measuring chamber is protected by 5 cm thickness lead sheet from all of the sides, also protected by cooper and tin layers, detector has 10 cm thick shielding.

Installed and programmed stepper motor with a gearbox, ensuring special measurment tracking.

Possible double control - from computer and physical control remote.

Device shock resistance from static electricity is tested by responsible institutions by computer simulation programs.
